the day was this monday, the day with mixed feelings, surprises, end sems ending, exam getting screwed, and our trip to “muttukaad”, which turned out to be very special and full of fun and surprises.
i woke up that day, getting 3 hours of sleep in spite of 3 day gap. it was Thermodynamics exam, which didn’t go very well and i shan’t talk about it.
we decided to go out, just roam in the city arbitly, without any plans, and that’s the point of it, you don’t make any plans for a trip to be amazing, and yes, it was.
so without any plans, we went to the main gate, ajay asked a localite friend about a place to go. he told about muttukaad, yes the name sounded as weird as it could, but we thought why not, for the heck of it, for fun.
we got into a bus, asking people about buses going to muttukaad, and the bus was AC, god we were so relieved, and then the bus driver tells us it would take 2 hours to reach, take another bus, or at least something like that, he was talking in Tamil to us.
we got out, found a bus after half an hour, bus smelling like fish market, rather looking like one. so we traveled for another 40 minutes in that stinky bus full of people from country. you couldn’t imagine how we were feeling, planning to kill talwar to make us get out of that AC bus.
so there we reached all excited, hoping to see better next hours, to a village, full of dogs, cattles, four five houses and a small grocery shop. talwar started crying “where is lake, where is lake!!i don’t see it anywhere!!” and ya we were feeling gutted too. so we went to a rikshaw puller to ask, but he was drunk, and threw ice in front of us and pushed staple, now we were pissed of with the place.
we somehow got the way to the “dariya” as the called it, and as we were reaching there we saw a heap of garbage (:O) and after a few steps, there it was, a sight as beautiful you could imagine, a beach with the horizon of dreams. wow! what a place it was.soon we forgot all the stuff that happened, exam, drunk bastard, and the bus. we were lost in the bliss surrounding that place. we made sandcastles, faces of people in sand, caught crabs, seashells ( ansik started making genitals in sand, that perv)ran around like kids. oh god
, that place was like coolest place in chennai suddenly
yeah, after that we did go in a bus full of blah blah…but we had made our day special enough and had spirits high for all that to ruin it.
so how the day starts doesnt matter, what matters is how you end it.
and god yeah, did it not end well!it was awesome.

expat of the devil's canyon
The expat of the devil’s canyon
Let me take you to the heavenly highs
The canyon of the devil where lies
The one with the waters brisk,
Takes Trouty in a bat and a whisk
Trouty, the expat of the devil’s canyon
Is on a journey there
Has vowed to cross canyon and fight Satan
But devils of the canyon don’t play fair
And the water that looks beautiful,
With stream so white, pristine and pure
Is full of energy, the blasts of drops are fire-full.
Trouty holds tight with gills widened, he is sure.
With the water full of air it’s like a breeze,
It makes him sure of an escapade of bliss,
But his senses halt and feet squeeze,
He sees the devil, the salamander, hearing the hiss.
it was the larv that got preyed on,
The hiss of the devil gets tom petrified.
Trouty releases his feet and swims with a bolt,
He swims so fast, it gets salamander stupefied.
But the devil gains his senses swiftly,
Follows our friend with an open mouth,
Trouty swims, swims and swims for long,
Until he gets to the end in the south.
So he reaches the destined place,
With not so good a voyage,
But alas! There still are some surprises,
Surprises which fly him to merry space.
Yes, trouty has reached the place,
The place he always wanted to come,
You should see the look on his face
As he sees fave food, new friends
and a place calm.
the night of my birth
Yes, it’s the night of my birth!
Yes it was the day of my death yeah….
Yes, I used to roam on the esplanade,
Was I an empty jar riddled of holes!
A life devoid of exciting escapades,
Was i the body with an out empty soul!
Yeah! But you came and turfed my earth!
And I have sown my wild oats yeah….
Yes, it’s the night of my birth!
Yes it was the day of my death yeah….
As I am now a jar refilled with fire!
You have the prowess of spurting my art
Reborn and aroused we shall dance,
Healed and burst with joy is my heart
Yes, it’s the night of my birth!
Yes it was the day of my death yeah…
